Henry's Story

Henry is a lovely, long-legged Treeing Walker Coonhound born December 2020. He is affectionate and hasn't met a human he doesn't love. Henry would do well in a home with a securely fenced yard, active humans that will take him on adventures and get him exercise. He loves to put his hound nose to work on long walks, hikes, or just when exploring the yard. He’s pretty active when outside, but inside, he loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with you. He’s great in the house. While he loves humans, Henry needs a home without cats or small pets as his prey drive is quite high. Henry is dog selective and has some resource guarding behaviors, so he would do best without another dog in the home.

Is this breed a match for you? TWC's are wonderful companions, they require an energy outlet and benefit from training. Like all hounds, they are vocal.
