Henry

He’s a character - fun, loving, and handsome. But there are four things Henry requires:<br/>1. No large dogs (before he came into our rescue, a piece of his ear was missing due to a Rottie and Henry does not do well with larger breed dogs now). He plays well with other small breed dogs.<br/>2. No cats. We discovered Henry has quite the prey drive.<br/>3. Secure fenced yard - for safety reasons.<br/>4. An active adult home or home with older dog-friendly kids. No young children as Henry does tend to nip if startled or doesn’t want something done to him.<br/>He’s generally sweet natured, barky, tends to be puppy naughty (tears-up kleenex, chews on fabric occasionally, chewed up a couple of remotes, etc. - his date of birth is 4/30/2025), likes to sleep on the bed and sit on laps, very excited about life, alert, has selective hearing, comical, a bit fearful when meeting new people but warms up, giving kisses is Henry’s talent, a charmer, tends to like “mom” the best, quite active so needs a home that will match his youthful energy and he has been a delight to foster (if we ignore his barking). In his young life he’s lived in four homes - they just weren’t a good match (two had big dogs so the dogs weren’t compatible and one is here in his foster home).
