• Henry has a double-coat and will require weekly brushing to keep him feeling his best!
• Looking for a running buddy? Henry should have plenty of exercise and would love to be that guy! He also loves to play fetch
• An owner with either experience with separation anxiety or being in an environment where someone is home with him for most of the day – he is a nervous pup who tends to rip up paper products/move objects when his people are gone – he also is currently taking a daily anxiety med.
• LOVES everyone - He wants to give the whole world hugs and kisses
• Good with big dogs, not so much with little dogs
• He wants to play with everyone but might be a little too intense for small kids
• Virtually ignores the resident cat in his foster home

Henry is a happy-go-lucky bundle of love, excitement, and endless cuddles. He has a blast playing fetch, with his squeaky toys, and Kongs – he also is fascinated with puzzle treats and thinks playing tag and going for runs is the best! He is convinced that he is a lap dog and loves being as close to his people as possible.

Henry starts off his day with a morning walk, breakfast and his anxiety pill, and then spends time in his crate while his humans are away – when they come home in the afternoon, Henry goes for a run or to the dog park (which he loves!) and then has dinner and hangs out with his foster family. He currently lives in a small house with a fenced yard consisting of two adult males, one adult female, and one grumpy cat - Henry loves everyone, even the grumpy cat.

Henry would love to live in a single-family home with a fenced in yard to run around in – he tends to let out some Husky howls when his people leave so a dwelling that shares walls (i.e. an apartment) is not ideal – an active family/individual would be great too as Henry loves to go for walks and jogs – and a family/individual that is understanding and patient with his anxieties and will work with him and love him just the way he is!

His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, leptospirosis, and bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative and microchip implant and registration.

Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 60-mile radius of the Twin Cities area.
