Henry was thankfully removed from a sweltering trailer in a hoarding situation of more than 70 dogs. His sad-sack face in the photos turn into happy grins when he knows he's safe. He is a sweet boy who gets along well with other dogs, loves women but seems to be cautious of kids' exuberance. He enjoys playing with the resident dog in his foster home, sleeps peacefully in his crate at night and is leaning to walk on leash. While Henry hasn't been mistreated other than the squalor that was his home, is shy at the onset but quickly settles in his environment. He will try to get as close to you as he can so you can pet him all over, and sometimes he needs a little reminder about your personal space. He just wants to be close.
