*IN FOSTER- APPOINTMENT REQUIRED* Henrietta is a ten-year-old, 9-pound, black and white Chihuahua mix. This sweet lady has earned the right to enjoy the simple pleasures in life: a cozy bed, a sunny spot by the window, and a loving person to share her golden years with.<br/><br/>Henrietta came to us from Pinal County Animal Shelter and has already overcome quite a bit. She spent time in foster care recovering from bronchitis, which has completely resolved, and she recently had a much-needed dental procedure. Henrietta is now proudly toothless, and while she may be missing her pearly whites, she's certainly not missing her enthusiasm for mealtimes! In fact, she's much more comfortable these days and ready to focus on what matters most, finding her forever home.<br/><br/>Henrietta has a 3/6 heart murmur, an enlarged heart, and a collapsing trachea.<br/>She is on medication twice daily that will need to continue for the remainder of her life. She does cough at times due to her heart and trachea but otherwise is a perky old gal! She's not looking for excitement or adventure. Instead, she'd love a quiet home where she can unwind, receive gentle affection, and simply be someone's cherished companion.<br/><br/>A calm canine roommate her size would likely be just fine, but a large, energetic dog would probably be more hustle and bustle than Henrietta prefers. She's a classic Chihuahua in all the best ways, devoted, sweet, and happiest when life is peaceful.<br/><br/>Senior dogs like Henrietta have so much love to give.
