Henrietta's Story
AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Please note: Henrietta is not hypoallergenic and does shed.

Meet Henrietta! Henrietta is a 2 month old shih tzu/terrier mix puppy. She currently weighs about 4 pounds, but is still quite the growing pup. While we expect her full grown weight to be under 25 pounds, we can not accurately predict that, so if you need a pup guaranteed to be a specific size, she is not the pup for you. Henrietta and her litter arrived in rescue after they were surrendered by a family could not properly care for them. They have since been raised in loving foster homes (the litter is not all in the same foster home) and are thriving. Henrietta is still very much a puppy and learning all of her life skills, so she will need a family that is up for that long term - which means house training, leash training, learning what to chew and not chew, continued socialization and positive reinforcement. Her foster mom says: Meet Henrietta! This tiny firecracker has a big personality and isn’t afraid to show it. She’s full of sass, smarts, and spirit — the total package! Henrietta loves to romp around with the big dogs in her foster home and insists she can keep up with them every step of the way (and honestly, she can!). Fearless and curious, she’s always ready for an adventure and refuses to be left out of the fun. When the day winds down, Henrietta is all about comfort — she’ll snuggle into the pillows and sleep soundly through the night, even sleeping in on lazy weekend mornings. She’s friendly with other dogs, adores meeting new people, and is doing great with housebreaking — using her piddle pads like a pro. Smart, playful, and full of heart, Henrietta is the perfect mix of sass and sweetness.

Henrietta is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.

Henrietta is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $450. If you are interested in applying to adopt Henrietta, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
