Henrietta's Story
Remember Henrietta that we posted a couple months ago? Well 2022 wasn't a very good year for her... She was left in an abandoned home with no food or water and lost almost all her body weight. 2023 started much better when this sweet little 3 year old mixed breed ~40lb girl was saved by FTR. Over the next few months Henny gained much needed weight and muscle strength. During her spay she had her tail amputated because her badly damaged "happy tail" just couldn't stop wagging and beating. Through all the vet appointments, poking & prodding, bandages and medications, Henny remained calm and sweet; absolute perfect patient. Henny has done well with children, cats and dogs while in her foster home. She does occasionally get bossy with her dog brothers but when you're surrounded by all boys, what girl wouldn't be a little bossy? Henny has the most beautiful silky soft and shiny fur coat. She loves chewing benebones, ice cubes and sticks. She loves to play fetch and chase after her foster dog brothers in the yard. But what Henrietta loves the most is snuggling; everywhere and every minute, with people and dogs! If you aren't up for constant snuggling then Henny isn't the girl for you. Henny does ok in her crate but doesn't prefer it. She is housebroken and has earned the right to roam free when left alone. She deserves to find a family that will treat her like the sweet little girl she is. Henny is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and prevention with an adoption fee of $375. If you think this awesome girl would be a wonderful life-long, cherished addition to your home please fill out our adoption application at: https://form.jotform.com/fairytailsrescuemd/dogpuppy-adoption-application<br/>Thanks!
