Henny's Story

Meet Henny!

Henny is somewhat of a couch potato with a lot of personality. She likes to be close to where everyone else is and will go in crate if told to but she doesn't like it and is vocal with her dislike of it. I have only heard her really bark two times and that is when someone knocked on the door she did not like it, but she LOVES company. She doesn't pay any attention to my dad that is disabled but wanted all the attention she could get from other males that come to visit. She loves kids she has been around kids age 10, 7, and 9 months and loved them all. She did not try to take food from baby while he was eating. Henny sometimes forgets how big she is when she gets a burst of energy and runs through the house and slides across the floor. When she wants something, usually her treat, she is very vocal and wines and gurgles at you and stomps her front paw on the floor demanding it Now! Lol
At night she likes to get as close to you as she can and usually use you for a pillow while you watch tv.
She does know basic commands sit, lay, stay, place, and she will go to her place and stay while you eat dinner so she is not towering over you while you eat. She also knows to get a treat she goes to place and lays down. When giving her commands you have to be firm with your tone to make her listen because she does get excited.
She is not crated except when company comes and it is just until they get in the door because like I said she does like company and gets overly excited.
During the night you can hear her go through the house room to room checking on everyone then she goes back to bed when she knows everything is good in the house.
She does not chew cords or furniture, and is very laid back except when you try to pick up sticks in the yard, she thinks that is play time and tries to take the sticks from you and if you throw them in a pile she will drag them back out.
You couldn't ask for any better companion than this and all she wants in return is Love and Treats.
