Do you know what I love? Humans! They are the best at giving snuggles. Do you know what else I love? Canine companions who love to play the way I do! Guess you could say I am very friendly and extremely affectionate. Being so sociable, I do my best to stick close to my people. For example, I like to be in the kitchen when meals are being prepared. Yes, the food is enticing, but it's the company that I'm after. And I'm not shy about asking for attention.<br/><br/>I know I'm a beagle, but I love to be held like a baby. My humans seem to enjoy this almost as much as I do. I will also hop up and give my people kisses. That one seems to really warm their hearts. Do you like to snuggle? I am up for snuggling always! If you prefer to lounge on the couch, will you please pick me up and put me up there with you? Yay! Time to cuddle!<br/><br/>Of course, I like to have fun, which occasionally means being a bit mischievous. For instance, I get accused of stealing, but I'm just grabbing clothes and shoes and carrying them off. That's not really stealing, is it? Do you know what else is awesome? Playing outside. I can run and chase squirrels. That is the best!<br/><br/>Sometimes my foster mom takes me for a ride in the car. It's a new experience for me, so I get a little anxious, but I don't get sick or anything. I just need to get used to car rides. I admit that I get quite startled when I hear loud noises. Oh, no! So, I run away from the scary sound. Of course, my curiosity then gets the best of me, so I return to investigate the sound.<br/><br/>When my foster mom has to go out, she sets me up in my crate. And do you know what else she does for me? She puts on some nice jazz music. That's right, I really enjoy listening to jazz music. It keeps me very calm so I can just chill out until my human returns.<br/><br/>So, if you love snuggles and jazz music, I just might be the beagle you've been looking for.<br/><br/>------<br/><br/>B.O.N.E.S. is a foster-home-based rescue organization serving dogs and potential adopters in the New England states.
