MEET HENDERSON <br/><br/>After spending far too long waiting behind shelter walls, Henderson is finally getting his chance at the good life. <br/><br/>Henderson is around 3 years old and was originally found as a stray. We don't know much about what his life looked like before he ended up at the shelter, but we do know that the shelter staff saw something incredibly special in him. They continued to advocate for this sweet boy and hoped someone would finally give him the chance he deserved.<br/><br/>Thanks to their persistence AND an incredible foster stepping up, we were finally able to say YES to Henderson and get him out of the shelter! <br/><br/>And let us tell you... this boy is a GEM.<br/><br/>Henderson is incredibly chill, laid-back, and sweet. He has done wonderfully with both male and female dogs and seems perfectly content just going with the flow. He's the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much - a comfy place to sleep, some love, a few doggy friends, and people to call his own. <br/><br/>Right now, Henderson is settling into his foster home and learning what it feels like to live the good life. No more shelter kennel. No more wondering when someone is coming for him. Now there are soft beds, new friends, love, and the promise that his next home will be his forever one. <br/><br/>His foster is giving us the opportunity to learn even more about him as he decompresses, but so far Henderson is showing us exactly why the shelter fought so hard for him.<br/><br/>Sometimes the best dogs are the ones who were simply overlooked for far too long.
