Hena's Story

This happy-go-luck gal is looking for a home where she can be her bouncy cheery self! She's a sweetheart that loves attention, walks well on a leash, is crate trained. She's still a young lady but is old enough to be past those rough "puppy" stages in life where they're chewing on your stuff and can't hold it while you're not home. She's happy to go for walks or rides in the car, but is also happy just holding down the fort at home.
If you are interested in adopting this pet, please visit Our Adoption Form. Once completed and processed we'll be in touch to set up a time for you to meet with the pet of interest.Interested in adopting? Vineland Municipal Animal Services's Adoption Policy
Potential adopters complete an adoption questionnaire that allows them to express interest in specific pets available for adoption. This also allows VMAS staff to begin a conversation that will allow us to make the best people/pet matches possible, meaning the needs of both will be met. Each pet is an individual and we take the "one at a time" approach into adoptions. We have no hard/fast rules about required fencing/housing types/household makeups as we want to remove as many barriers to adoption as possible while still ensuring adoptions have safety & happiness of all parties involved. The second step is potential adopters (and possibly their current pets) meeting with the pet of interest. This helps introduce the parties and can help smooth a transition if an adoption should happen. This also allows VMAS staff time to speak with the potential adopter about any concerns or specific areas where they can assist a new adopter with making an adoption successful.
