Hemingway Mastiff & Labrador Retriever Mix Madras, OR

Hemingway came in as a stray and sadly was never claimed. He is a sweetheart of a dog. Doesn't really know how to play with toys. Not very treat motivated as well. He responds well to a kind voice. Don't know much about him since he was a stray so we are learning as we go. We have not tested him with other dogs, cat or kids yet, but he doesn't seem to mind the dogs that share the fence line when he is in a yard area. We think he is about 1 and a half years old and weighs 72 pounds. Lab/mastiff mix maybe? He is not quite ready to go yet but a $25 non refundable hold fee can hold him until he is ready to go and that fee goes towards his adoption fee. If you are local, you may qualify for our foster to adopt program.

before applying for adoption. Once we receive your application it will be gone through and then you will be called to schedule a meet and greet.
