Helen's Story

Meet Helen!

She is a black lab, 1-2 years old. She is the most gentle, loving girl. She is food motivated so will do anything for a treat, housebroken, smart, kennel trained, loves other dogs and cats, kids and people.

She came to us as a stray and I thought she had just delivered puppies that couldn't be found. She didn't have a belly but had milk. A few days later she went into labor. She delivered 6 of the most beautiful puppies I had ever seen. She was the best mom. Then sadly they started dying at 4-5 weeks of age. The best we can figure out is it was something genetic. They would be eating, drinking, playing, no sign of illness, normal stools and then just stop breathing.

As you can guess she is now very sad here and we would love to see her find a forever family that would help her forget this tragedy and only know love from her on out.

She is spayed, dewormed, vaccinated, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, heartworm tested and microchipped.

If interested, please complete an application found on website.

Phelpscountyanimalrescue.net

Or click link:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfVOWjBq3gPoETSQp7kbnbke6Vp4T1rgcWHLnJtM1HmwRIfng/viewform?usp=header

Adoption fee $100
