Meet Helen
If you are at least 21 years old and everyone in your household is on board with adopting a dog, CALL 651-645-4370 between 7:00 am and 9:30 pm and we will return your call within 24 hours. If you elect to contact us via e-mail it may take several weeks for us to get back to you. Renters must provide proof that you are allowed to have a dog. Please be prepared to provide a vet reference prior to adoption.
Is there room in your heart for this sweet little dog in need? Helen is diabetic and being held in a vet clinic after being surrendered by her owner. The owner could not afford treating her diabetes so just ignored it. Diabetes is not something that can be ignored without consequences and the consequence for this little girl is she has very limited eyesight. She does best in familiar places where she knows where things are. The people at the vet clinic say she is just the nicest girl and they are hoping we can find a home for her. She is about 6 years old and weighs about 35#. She is in South Dakota and will be transported to Saint Paul if we can find a home for her. PUP will cover the cost of insulin for Helen for two years.
Helen has been vet checked, wormed and vaccinated. PUP will have her spayed prior to placement.
