Meet Heidi! <br/><br/>Heidi is a 18-month-old female Blue Merle Cocker Spaniel with a heart as beautiful as her coat! She’s petite for her breed, weighing just 15 pounds, making her the perfect compact companion.<br/> <br/>Heidi is the sweetest little girl! She had a rough start to life, bouncing between homes and living outside as her previous owners wanted to breed and sell her puppies. Heidi is learning to LOVE being in the home with her people that she can cuddle anytime she wants! While the first chapter of her life wasn’t ideal, she has truly blossomed in her foster home and continues to show what an incredible little dog she is.<br/><br/>Heidi does wonderfully with other dogs. She hasn’t yet been tested with cats or small children, but her playful, gentle, and affectionate personality suggests she would likely do well with proper introductions.<br/><br/>When Heidi first arrived, she had very little training—but she’s proven just how smart and eager to learn she is! She’s making great progress with house training, walking nicely on a leash, and has learned that her crate is a safe, cozy space rather than something to fear. She’s currently working on mastering basic commands like sit, stay, come, and heel.<br/><br/>Heidi would thrive in an active home—whether that’s with a family or an individual—who can continue building her confidence and training.
