Heidi

Heidi is a super friendly, spayed female Terrier/Jack Russell mix, estimated to be around 9-10 years old— although her energy level could fool us! She has lots of spirit and is very enthusiastic for an elderly dog. Heidi was originally adopted from the shelter several years ago but recently returned after her owner lost their home. <br/><br/>Heidi is great with other dogs and children, and she loves meeting new people. She's a favorite among our staff and volunteers and especially enjoys playing with toys! She has also been a wonderful companion at several community outings, including recent visits to Upper Sandusky's First Thursday event, where she LOVES strolling downtown and making new friends.<br/><br/>We are unsure how Heidi does with cats, though she appears to have a strong prey drive, which is common in terriers. She walks nicely on a leash but will need a little refresher training with housebreaking. (Appointments Required)<br/>The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)<br/><br/>Step 2— Pick up your new pet!<br/>Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
