Heidi

Heidi is a friendly, spayed female Terrier/Jack Russell mix, estimated to be around 9–10 years old. She was originally adopted from the shelter several years ago but recently returned after her owner lost their home. <br/><br/>Heidi is great with other dogs and children, and she loves meeting new people. She’s a favorite among our staff and volunteers and especially enjoys playing with toys! She has also been a wonderful companion at several community outings, including a recent visit to Upper Sandusky’s “First Thursday” event, where she loved strolling through downtown and making new friends.<br/><br/>We are unsure how Heidi does with cats, though she appears to have a strong prey drive, which is common in terriers. She walks nicely on a leash but will need a little refresher training with housebreaking. (Appointments Required)<br/>The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)<br/><br/>Step 2— Pick up your new pet!<br/>Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
