She handled meeting lots of new dogs better than we could have hoped and happily accepted pets and attention from every person who wanted to say hello. It was wonderful to see her confidence shine.<br/><br/>Heidi currently lives with another dog in her foster home and does very well. While she can be a little cautious when meeting unfamiliar dogs, shes shown us that with slow, thoughtful introductions, she has the potential to make new canine friends. We think shed do wonderfully in a home with another playful, well-mannered dog who will give her the time she needs to settle in.<br/><br/>Because of her past, Heidi is still building confidence and learning that the world is a safe place. Shell thrive with a patient adopter who is committed to continuing her training and helping her grow. Watching Heidi blossom is incredibly rewarding, and the love she gives in return is truly special.<br/><br/>A home with a large, securely fenced yard would be a dream for this active girl, giving her plenty of room to run, play, and enjoy the outdoors. Were not sure how she feels about cats, so a cat-free home or one with a very experienced, gradual introduction would be best.
