It’s Heidi! This gorgeous girl, born March 10, 2021, is a breeder release. She has made amazing progress in her foster family, where she has been since September 5, 2025. <br/><br/>She has come SO FAR since then. From being terrified of people and entirely shut down to now approaching people that she knows are safe, giving kisses and instigating play. <br/><br/>At home she is a playful, goofy, loyal companion; an absolute sweetheart of a dog and the least demanding foster we've ever had. <br/><br/>Don't let her "German Shepherd packaging" mislead you. Heidi is not going to be your security guard. She is cautious and still startles. She is not a high energy dog who needs to be kept busy. She takes a daily walk and goes to a local dog park a couple times a week to romp with her friends. The rest of the time she surfs from bed to bed, dozing and watching out the window. Although she *very much* wants to play with the older Frenchie in her foster home, the Frenchie is not interested.
