Hefty's Story

I greeted the PACA volunteer with tail wags at the shelter where I ended up. She took a liking to me, and I loved it when she picked me up. My tail was thumping on her jacket. She found a foster home for me until I get adopted. I was only at her house for a night, but here is what she learned about me so far:
I am always happy to spend time with people, but I can also entertain myself. I slept all night in my crate and went potty outside. I got a bath, and while it wasn't my favorite thing, I held still and let her wash the shelter smell off me. I like other dogs and try to get them to play by putting my butt in the air and wagging my tail. I want to chase a ball and explore outside. I know who my mom was, but since I can't talk, the foster mom is guessing I am a Cattle dog and Great Pyrenees mix. I will probably weigh at least 60 lbs when grown. I am a chunky boy with sturdy bones, so they are calling me Hefty.

If you're interested in meeting Hefty, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm at 6300 San Mateo NE, in the south Sprouts parking lot.

Alternatively, we can arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with a completed application. Complete an easy, no-obligation online application and take the first step towards welcoming Hefty into your home by clicking on this link https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155

The $250 adoption fee covers all vaccines, spay, microchip, and heartworm/tick-borne illness testing.
