Hazel's Story

Hazel’s story is one of true resilience. She came to us after being found caught in a coyote trap during freezing weather, severely malnourished and in need of care. Despite everything she’s been through, Hazel has proven to be incredibly strong—and even sweeter. Our vet believes she may have had a previous injury to her rear end, which causes her to walk a little differently, but it doesn’t slow her down or affect her quality of life. Hazel weighs around 45–50 lbs and has a gentle, loving personality. She is great with other dogs and has shown nothing but kindness since arriving. All Hazel wants now is a safe, warm home and someone to love her the way she’s always deserved. After everything she’s endured, she’s more than ready for her happy ending.
