Hazel's Story

Meet Hazel!

Hazel came to us as a small puppy with some health issues. She immediately went into foster.

Hazel is incontinent. Because of this she needs to go out more frequently. She does not wear a diaper because it makes her sore.

Her back end from poor breeding has left her with some issues. Some of the disc in her spine are deformed and her hips are set outside the socket. Even after all of these obstacles Hazel can still walk but sometimes she drags her legs.

Hazel loves kids! BUT she does have behavioral issues in the home. So we think it’s best she does not live with young kids. Her foster mom can go over that with you if you are interested.

She does not get along with dogs inside the home, she has some food aggressions and will take it out on other dogs. Therefore we are saying a home with no other dogs is best.

Hazel can be social with other dogs as long as food is not around! She is around 2 1/2 years old now.

Hazel does get along with some farm animals how cute! She enjoys doing events for the rescue and hanging with her goat friends.

Pa Kennel License #8956
