PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - HAZEL BREED - Miniature Poodle SIZE - 8 pounds AGE - 7-8 years GENDER - Female MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Hazel is a wonderful little girl seeking the companionship of a wonderful adopter! Not only is she adorable, but she is super sweet. Hazel is both quiet, and clean, will make a perfect little companion that would be happy beside her special person enjoying a quiet life. Hazel came to us from a breeding situation locally with two other mini poodles. She came into rescue after her owner passed away. Hazel has been examined by our veterinarian and is deemed to be in good health and ready for adoption! We are seeking a home with an adopter able to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time with her. We require a home without larger pets or small children, and with a fenced, secure yard. She loves other small dogs who are friendly and well behaved. Hazel will make a wonderful companion for an active senior person who is able to care for her independently. Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Petfinder inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of Hazel and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family to meet Hazel at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting her and determining that she matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
