We are hoping to find placements for these two amazing dogs, who were rescued from a home with 178 dogs back in February. <br/><br/><br/>Two sweet girls are looking for a Vermont-only foster or adopter so they can begin heartworm treatment on May 13th and recover outside of the shelter environment.<br/><br/>Hazel (estimated 2–4 years old)<br/>Hazel loves playing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine playmate. She can be a little reserved at first, but since arriving at the shelter in February, she has become much more social and confident. With a little patience and love, Hazel really shines.<br/><br/>Emmie (estimated 3–4 years old)<br/>Emmie is incredibly social and absolutely adores everyone she meets. She does well with other dogs, though she prefers calmer companions over rough-and-tumble playmates. She’s affectionate, friendly, and eager to make new friends wherever she goes.<br/><br/>Both girls need a Vermont-based foster or adopter so they can safely complete heartworm treatment and recovery in a loving home.
