Hazel's Story

Hazel is 3 months old and weighs 12 lbs, and she is just the sweetest little puppy. She has short legs, the softest puppy face, and an easy, happy personality that makes her such a joy to be around. She’s gentle, affectionate, and has that calm sweetness that makes you want to scoop her up and keep her close.

Hazel is a Sato, which is a Puerto Rican street dog. Satos are known for being resilient, loyal, and wonderful family companions. Hazel already shows how special she is with her delightful disposition and loving nature. She enjoys being with her people and takes everything in stride like a really good little pup.

She’s currently working on crate training, leash training, and potty training in her foster home. Like any puppy, she’ll need a family ready to continue her training and help her learn the routine of a new home, but she’s off to a great start. Hazel would make a lovely addition to a home looking for a sweet, affectionate puppy with an easygoing personality.

Hazel is being fostered in Parkville, MD.

****If you’re interested in scheduling a meet and greet, please fill out an adoption application at: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CPAR/Dog
****

PLEASE READ:

Any dog that is house or potty trained will still need patience in a new home, new people, and a new schedule.
