Hazel's Story

Meet Hazel!
Hazel is a sweet, energetic, and incredibly friendly young pup who loves just about everyone she meets! She is warm, affectionate, curious, and always ready to make a new friend—whether that’s a person or another dog. She especially loves to play and is constantly looking for someone to join in on the fun. Hazel is believed to be a Catahoula/Hound mix and approximately 7 months old.

Hazel is a very smart girl who has picked up on training quickly. She learned house training and crate training in a short amount of time and already knows several basic commands, including sit, stay, come, and stop. She is still working on her leash manners and will continue to benefit from consistent training as she grows.

She is very attached to her people and loves being around them. She can experience some separation sadness and may whine when she wants company, but she is not a big barker. Hazel has lots of puppy energy and would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship. She would especially love a home with a large, fenced yard where she can run and play, and she enjoys having other dogs around.

Hazel is believed to be good with children, although this has not been fully. Her experience with cats is unknown.

If you're looking for a fun, loving, playful, and incredibly social young dog who wants to be part of everything you do, Hazel could be the perfect addition to your family!

Hazel is being fostered in the Bend, Oregon area. Hazel presently weighs about 35 pounds. She is up to date on her vaccinations and has been spayed, wormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.
