Hayley's Story

Meet Hayley! She is a bright, affectionate little girl who believes personal space is highly overrated. She was born in foster care on 11-8-25 and has been surrounded by warmth and care from the very beginning, which is exactly why she is so incredibly social and confident with people. She is the kind of puppy who will happily greet you with tail wags, kisses, and a full body lean just to be as close as possible. Her mom weighs around 30lbs, and we expect Hayley to be about that size once she is fully grown, a perfect medium sized companion. Hayley is sweet and very people-focused, outgoing and affectionate, great with dogs, cats, and kids! Being raised inside in a foster home and
currently working on house training. Hayley is not meant for an outdoor life she is meant to be part of the family. She should be cuddled on the couch, tucked into bed with her people, and spoiled the way every beloved dog deserves.
She is ready to give her whole heart to a family who will keep her safe indoors, include her in everyday moments, and love her as much as she loves them.

Visit or call the shelter if you would like to meet the adoptable pets.
DCAAC PHONE #: 256.304.0474
OPEN HOURS: 9 am-4 pm Mon-Fri
SHELTER LOCATION:
Dekalb County Animal Adoption Center
2601 Jordan Road SW
Fort Payne, AL 35968
ADOPTION FEES are $80.
