Haylee

Meet Haylee - she is a 8 1/2 year old Cur mix with a HUGE personality. Sadly, she was owner surrendered with her brother due to her owner passing away. Her brother immediately got adopted and Haylee has been at our rescue for years. Haylee is really a good dog but the shelter setting has not been great for her for a couple of reasons. The main reason is because she is a fence climber! She has to be monitored during any play times or else she climb out . She needs to have a home with a fully wooden or vinyl fence because she loves to play and run! She gets the zoomies like crazy and is sooooo stinking silly. Haylee does play with dogs at BARK but she is an alpha female meaning she does NOT get along with other Alpha females. This is not uncommon in dogs. We see this very often however this makes her a little harder to place being she has that characteristic along with being a fence climber. In addition to her being a fence climber, Haylee recently had three growths removed and we had them biopsied. Results came back showing mass cells. Our vet has started her on Benadryl twice a day and she could definitely live a very long life with mass cell cancer. Benadryl is inexpensive and easy to give daily!<br/><br/>We know that Haylee has the perfect home out there waiting for her, and we know we can find it. She is such a sweet girl and she is sooooo much fun!!!! Her personality is really huge and she lights up a room!!!! She is great with people and kids and most dogs. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, current on heartworm preventative and flea and tick and past ready to find her FOREVER home.
