Hawkeye

Hawkeye is a neutered male tricolor Sheltie. Our vet believes he is around 2.5 years old, and he currently weighs 35 lbs. Hawkeye's owner passed away, and he came to us with a group of dogs who weren't being cared for in the way we hope for all of our rescues. He is up to date on all of his vet care, and has been neutered. He is crate trained and seems to be housetrained. Hawkeye also came to us positive for heartworms, and has been treated. He has already completed his 8 weeks of crate rest, and is ready for his adoptive home. Hawkeye is a very sweet guy, but can be shy until he gets to know you. He gets along well with the other dogs he has met, but hasn't been tested with cats. He really loves to play chase with other dogs, and chase a ball. A securely fenced yard is required for Hawkeye's adoptive home.
