Hawk's Story
Hawk is seeking a home that will love and appreciate all of her little quirks.

She is slow to warm up to strangers and makes the funniest little squawking sound to express her displeasure. Ironically, she wasn't actually named for the sound, she was named for her mohawk. But at this point, she has fully embraced the name and gives a pretty convincing hawk impression when she feels the need to voice her opinions.

Underneath all of that personality is a sweet, lovable little girl who just wants cuddles from her person. Once she builds trust, she promises to love you and snuggle with you forever.

Hawk would do best with someone who understands that relationships take time and that not every dog wants to be best friends immediately. She would likely do well with older children who can respect her boundaries and let her settle in at her own pace.
