Meet Haven!<br/>She’s sweet, goofy, and all heart... and I just have a feeling this girl is somebody’s dream dog. She’s making friends, going on adventures, learning her good-girl manners, and discovering that life can actually be FUN <br/><br/>She’s already a survivor.<br/>She’s already a hero.<br/>And now she’s working hard to become the very best version of herself for the family who will love her forever.<br/><br/>She thrives when she has structure, routine, and a person who will patiently show her what is expected of her. She watches her person for guidance, responds well to corrections, and is coming along wonderfully with basic training and manners. She’s 90% house trained and working hard every day to cross the finish line.<br/><br/>Haven has has made tremendous progress learning how to navigate life as a happy, confident dog. She can be cautious with some men at first, but she has shown us that trust can absolutely be earned—especially when treats are involved!<br/><br/>Her one current challenge is crate time. She has some anxiety when being crated, so her future family will need to continue working patiently with her and help her learn that being alone is safe and temporary.<br/><br/>Apply now at www.soardogs.org<br/><br/>You don’t have to be perfect to be Haven’s person. You just have to be willing to love her as fiercely and faithfully as she’s going to love you. <br/><br/>Adoption donation required. This covers altering, DAP series vaccinations to date of adoption, Bordetella Vaccination, Rabies vaccination if over four months, Microchip, Deworming, heartworm test (if over 8 months), monthly flea/heartworm prevention to date, grooming, full veterinary examination, and temperament evaluation. <br/><br/>All SOAR dogs go through a ten-day quarantine period to ensure they are healthy, before being adopted. We do not operate on a first come first serve basis, but screen applicants in order to find the best fit for our adoptable dogs.
