Your future boss is accepting applications.<br/><br/>This 10-year-old pocket-sized queen is looking for a person or couple she can fully manage. Her job description for you includes:<br/>• Providing snacks on demand (she is a serious foodie)<br/>• Delivering affection only when she requests it<br/>• Respecting her personal space when she is feeling spicy<br/>• Understanding that treats are the only acceptable negotiation tactic<br/><br/>Let’s be clear about house rules:<br/>No kids<br/>No other pets (competition for attention will not be tolerated)<br/>spicyChihuahua-savvy humans only<br/>Patience required to help her slowly dial down the spice level<br/><br/>She was recently spayed and had a hernia repaired. She does have another very small hernia that wasn’t repaired due to its size and may need attention in the future. She also needs senior lab work, which we are happy to cover if completed at your vet.<br/><br/>In return, you’ll get a hilarious, opinionated, snack-loving little character who will run your household with tiny but mighty authority.<br/>She is currently being fostered in Sacramento, CA, and foster-to-adopt is an option for brave applicants.<br/><br/>Think you have what it takes to serve a spicy senior Chihuahua?<br/>Send us an email at:<br/>beourpet@gmail.com<br/>If you dare.<br/><br/>GENERAL INFO:<br/>Housebroken?: Yes, we think so<br/>Crate Trained?: Yes<br/>Leash Trained?: Yes<br/>Rides Well in Car?: Yes<br/>Non-Shedding?: No but low shed<br/>Good with cats?: Yes, we think so<br/>Good with dogs?: Yes<br/>Qualifies for Seniors for Seniors?: yes<br/>Umbrella of Hope does not have any strict rules on ages of children because all children are different, but our best approximation is that this animal would do best with children over the age of 12<br/>Umbrella of Hope is an all-volunteer, donation-run, non-profit animal rescue based out of Pittsburg, CA that rescues animals from local shelters, places them in private foster homes, provides them with needed medical care and then finds them new homes.<br/>Also, ask us about our seniors for seniors program, where we adopt animals 5 years or older to qualified homes with a $5 donation as an adoption fee. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and given any additional treatments (dental work, bloodwork etc) as recommended by our vet.<br/>Adoptions to veterans of the US Armed Services are ALWAYS free to thank you for your service.<br/>We thank Well Pet Vet Clinic for providing most of our veterinary services and give a special thanks to volunteer photographers Tanya, Barbara, Kristy, Christine, Teressa and Natalie.
