Hattie's Story

Hattie is spayed and fully healthy! She is up to date on vaccines. She is also microchipped! Hattie is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster!

: Reliably potty trained and lets you know when they need to go outside.
: Prefers to be free-roam to a doggy-proofed area as opposed to a crate.
: Will benefit from continued training. Tends to bark/pull/jump on leash towards other dogs and/or people and will benefit from a calm neighborhood.
: Prefers to Be the Only Dog: Happiest as the center of attention and does best without other dogs in the home.
: Unsure with Cats: Has not been tested with cats, so their compatibility is unknown. We would recommend a slow introduction with a way to separate the home for each pet.
: Hattie has not been tested with children and may need a gradual introduction to younger family members.

Hattie is a cuddly, good-natured girl who's happiest curled up with her people. Her little snorts, grunts, and snores (especially when she's getting cozy or enjoying a good scratch) are guaranteed to make you smile every day. A true snuggle bug, Hattie loves to tuck herself in close, often burrowing her nose under your arm or leg. She even uses her plush toys as pillows, which is as adorable as it sounds. She's also a big fan of food and has lovely manners, patiently waiting when it's mealtime. Hattie has made wonderful progress in her foster home and continues to grow more confident every day. She's ready to bring her warmth and cozy companionship to a home of her own.

: This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of their actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think they look like!

: Hattie's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous supporter!

: Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/.
