Hastings's Story

Hastings is a handsome hound with sweet, soulful eyes that could convince even the busiest human to stop and give him a scratch. His white coat is dotted with tan spots, giving him a charming,
patchwork look that suits his big personality. At 48 pounds, he's a young adult with plenty of pep in his step and a whole lot of love to give.
This boy has energy to spare and enthusiasm for days. Rambunctious in the most endearing way, Hastings is looking for an active family who appreciates a dog that's always ready for the next adventure. He loves people, enjoys other dogs, and approaches life with the joyful gusto only a hound can deliver. He's eager to learn the ropes, practice his manners, and show off just how smart he can be.
If you're searching for a lively companion who will keep you moving, laughing, and feeling loved, Hastings is ready to trot right into your life. Don't wait to meet this spotted sweetheart-reach out today.
Sleepover feedback: " It has been a pleasure having Hastings stay with us this weekend! He is a very sweet and special boy! Hastings is very good with other dogs. He would definitely prefer to be in a home with another active dog. He rides very well in the car. Hastings does really well in the crate. Hastings is a confident and loving guy! Any family would be lucky to have him!
*Hiker feedback: " He was enthusiastic about keeping pace with the leaders, but did get distracted by good smells in tall grass, as hounds do. He would love an active family who enjoys spending lots of time outdoors, then spend time cuddling. He was mildly interested in the other dogs and was unfazed when some moved in for a sniff so no concerns about being fearful of dogs.

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
