Harvey is a people lovin young low rider who especially likes kids! 1 yr 47 lbs border collie lab mix , He looks much bigger in pics) he’s very short! He would love a home with children! He has been very gentle with kids. <br/> <br/> He’s at a vacation foster while his foster is out of town and he’s been amazing with the 3 little kids! He needs a forever home with a fenced yard. He would be good with or without other dogs. If you don’t have a dog, play dates would be great for him.<br/> He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once he does he’s cuddling! He just arrived in Loudoun County 2/16., he came from an overwhelmed shelter in Atlanta, GA where there is 400 dogs housed there. He spent the last 2 mos in a foster there to decompress and share feedback on him. <br/> He loves his crate, his safe space. He loves to be close to his people. Loves to cuddle next to you! He has proved to be gentle with 2 yrs old toddler GA, he was also fostered with 3 dogs and a cat, he ignored the cat! He has shown that he’ll chase a cat if it runs. He played with their dogs in the yard, but inside was all about cuddling with his people. Currently in foster with 8 & 11 yrs old boys, they are teaching him more commands! He listens well, takes treats gently. He knows Sit & Wait! Down! Roll over! Harvey is housebroken. He loves toys! He did great in his bath! Heceven let them blow dry him! Lol! He needs leash training, he doesn’t know how strong he is. He just had a lesson with Sit Means Sit in Leesburg, VA. He was very responsive and easy to train. He improved and had a great lesson.
