Meet Harvey! Harvey came to CCHS from a local farm earlier this August. This handsome Heeler mix is just about a year old and weighs roughly 41.6lbs currently. Harvey is a shining pup with a smile to match! He is as sweet as can be, though he can start out a little timid at times. Harvey is a smart guy, just waiting to figure out all of life's puzzles and snufflemats! He would benefit from an active furever home that can help burn some of that remaining puppy energy! While we aren't entirely certain what his exact breed makeup is, we can tell you he is 100% your newest front seat co-pilot! With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the dog. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.<br/><br/>CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
