Harry in MO's Story
The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application.
Phone interviews do not take place til after an approved application is on file and we have a possible match for your home.

My name is Harry. I am 3 years old and weigh 26 pounds. I need a new home because my previous owner downsized her kennel. I am being fostered in St. Louis, MO.

I love taking walks, spending time on the couch next to you and getting belly rubs.
It takes me a bit to warm up and feel comfortable in new settings, but once I do, I’m a love bug. I will follow you around the house and snuggle with you on the sofa. When I feel unsure about a situation, I will go to my crate until I feel more confident about things.

I get along with other dogs and would rather not be the only dog in a home. I’ve started playing with the other dogs in the house and enjoy their companionship. Observing how other dogs behave is helping me to build confidence.

I need an owner who will be patient with me as I acclimate to a new home.

Here's a little more about me:
Housetrained? Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.

If you are Interested in Adoption please complete our online adoption application at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application

Petfinder's form is NOT our application. We will respond back to you within 72 hours of receiving your application.
