PRINCE HARRY! Oh dear, this kid got us all like.....SWOON! He's seriously the looker, with his one blue eye, and low rider stature he is quite unique! Harry is a young dog who's previous owners kept him outside 24/7 and school age children terrorized him by walking by his fence every day. They were not very nice to Harry although he was happy to see them, over time that turned to fear. <br/><br/>Harry's owners thought rather than bring him inside, they felt he was better in a shelter and just gave him up. We met Harry via a volunteer who told us that he was too good and did not belong in jail. They were totally right. Harry is a gentle soul, he loves love and walks beautifully on leash, he likes other dogs, has not met a cat but daschunds do like to chase. Harry is calm and quiet at first but he comes out of his shell fast. He does not like manhandling so he is not suitable for young children, he would be better with kids >13 who are gentle and kind. <br/><br/>Harry's ideal home would be an active couple who love hiking and running or even strolling on the beach. He is gorgeous in person, shy at first, LOVES treats and walks and human companionship but not overbearing or too excitable. Harry is 30lbs, short, fully vaccinated, neutered, dewormed and about to have his teeth cleaned at our vet, does play groups beautifully!
