Harry's Story

Meet Harry, a dog whose personality is impossible to not love. Around 2 years old, he's an incredibly sweet, goofy boy who enjoys being wherever his people are. He adores tug-of-war, handles affection like a pro, and is wonderfully gentle with children and other dogs. He gets along wonderfully with the resident dogs and is happiest when making new friends—he truly believes everyone is his new best friend.

Harry is completely house-trained, crate-trained, and knows commands like sit, come, paw, and no. He loves being outdoors, where he enjoys sniffing out animal tracks and keeping an eye on rabbits, and while he's still polishing his leash manners, his excitement settles as the walk goes on. At home, he's easygoing, loves treats, and can nap just about anywhere, especially if it's close to his favorite person.

Harry is curious, smart, endlessly affectionate, and ready to bring laughter, love, and plenty of tail wags to his forever home. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a playful spirit and a heart of gold, Harry is ready to steal yours.

Interested in meeting this dog?
Visit our website (https://www.sccrescue.org/) to fill out an application and to find out where this dog may be shown this weekend.

We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dogs individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog.

Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don't know their background. We encourage you to base your decision on individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on our guess.

Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near the Chicagoland area.
