Harriet D70423's Story
I am looking for a forever family!

Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt

Hi, my name is Harriet and I am from Arkansas!

Meet Harriet, a sweet-faced cuddlebug with an even sweeter personality! She absolutely loves people, pets, and affection-and isn't shy about asking for it. Scratch her butt in just the right spot and you may get some adorable back-leg tippy tappies! She happily accepts approximately one million forehead kisses a day and will even give a few back.

Harriet is a wonderful nap and couch-snuggle buddy, but her playful, slightly mischievous side comes out when she's feeling energetic. She's been known to sneak away for a joyful zoom through the house, smiling the whole way!

She's potty trained, crate-comfortable, food-motivated, and recently learned "sit." She's great with stairs and hops into the car on her own. She can be reactive to unfamiliar dogs and people outside, but has improved and responds well to correction. She's also done well with cats and may enjoy a confident, dog-savvy feline friend.

I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family.
