Harper's Story

Give a warm welcome to Harper, a 6-year-old Yorkshire Terrier mix weighing just 7 pounds, who is the perfect little companion. This sweet girl has a heart full of love and a gentle spirit that makes her a joy to be around.

Harper gets along wonderfully with kids, adults, and other dogs. While she’s not big on playing with toys or roughhousing, she’s happy to coexist peacefully with furry friends and is always up for making new human pals. She’s a cuddly couch potato at heart, but she also loves her walks, soaking up sunshine in the yard, and tagging along wherever you go.

Housebroken, pad trained, and crate trained, Harper is polite and well-mannered. She’s great on a leash, travels easily, and knows her basic commands like sit and stay. She doesn’t shed, barks only occasionally, and happily shares all her possessions.

Harper has diabetes, which means she pees more frequently than most dogs, but she handles her routine like a champ. On walks, she can get a little excited when she sees other pups, but with a gentle reminder, she immediately listens and quickly settles down.

If you’re looking for a sweet and affectionate munchkin who will happily keep you company on the couch or by your side in the sunshine, Harper is your girl. She’s not clingy, but she’ll always make you feel loved. And she seems to love absolutely everyone! What a special little lady!

If you would like to adopt this wonderful dog, please email rescue@pupstarzrescue.org or visit www.pupstarzrescue.org for an application!

www.pupstarzrescue.org
Please Follow us on Instagram: @pupstarzrescue
Like us on FaceBook! www.facebook.com/PupStarzRescue

PupStarz rescue cannot guarantee the breed, size, temperament or age of any dog.
