Harper's Story
Harper is looking for a forever home of her own!!

Harper joined us last fall, from an overcrowded understaffed shelter in Texas. She was heartworm positive back then but has been treated for the disease, is good to go and now is looking for a forever home of her own.

Harper is a Boston Terrier, estimated to be 3-4 years old, weighing about 14 lbs. She is very active, loves to run fast and play hard!. At times, she can be a little stinker getting into things, then running off when she is caught in the act!

On the other hand, Harper loves cuddling being petted, and just hanging out with her person. While Harper is ok with other dogs, she wants to get all the attention and it is best she be an only dog, so she can indeed receive all the attention and affection she so deserves.

Harper really enjoys playing, chasing tennis balls, playing with stuffed toys, and chewing her play bone. She also enjoys going for walks and car rides.

An ideal family for Harper is one that can provide her the attention and affection she so enjoys, keep her stocked in toys and tennis balls, and include her in all family activities, with plenty of walks and car rides.

Adopters with past breed experience are definitely preferred, and a solid vet history for past dogs is required. While Harper is fine with older children, Harper would not do well with smaller children.

Harper is fully vetted, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on year-round heartworm prevention, spayed and microchipped.

Please note that BAARK is located in Barrington IL; we adopt only local to the Chicago area.
