Harp's Story

Hi! I'm Harp, a 10yearold, 17pound terrier blend named after the instrument that makes the prettiest notes. I try to bring that same easy, happy vibe wherever I go. I'm a curious little lady who loves staying close to my person, sharing kisses and trotting along on walks. I'm also a devoted snuggler and a loyal sidekick who treasures every moment together.

Favorite Things: Harp enjoys life's simple pleasures, from strolling beside her person to curling up for cozy downtime. She loves joining in on errands, relaxing at outdoor cafés and savoring soft treats like watermelon or peanut butter. Whether she's soaking up belly rubs, taking in a peaceful walk or hopping into the car for an outing, Harp brings a warm, happy presence wherever she goes.

Training and Manners: Harp is house trained when taken out regularly and has excellent everyday manners. She walks beautifully on a leash, settles easily at home and doesn't bother with things she shouldn't. She sleeps comfortably in either the people bed or her own soft spot and handles new environments with steady confidence. She communicates in endearing ways and enjoys being part of her person's routine.

Health and Care: Harp is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She'll need monthly heart worm and flea/tick prevention like all dogs. Her short coat makes grooming simple, usually just a bath and nail trim when needed. She recently had a full dental procedure and now has five teeth, so she'll need soft food, which she eats with plenty of enthusiasm.

Other Animals: Harp may express her feelings about unfamiliar dogs on walks, but she has lived peacefully with calm, older pups she knows. She's wonderful with cats and genuinely enjoys their company. Her preference for keeping her person all to herself simply shows how deeply she bonds and how devoted she is to her humans.

Children: Harp is gentle with children of all ages. Her calm nature and affectionate personality make her a lovely match for families who appreciate a steady, loving companion.

Ideal Home: Harp's easygoing temperament makes her comfortable in many living situations. She can be left alone for several hours and has free rein of the home when her person is out. She thrives in a relaxed environment where she can enjoy daily strolls, close companionship and the chance to join her person on simple adventures.

Overall: Harp is a tenderhearted terrier blend with a bright mind, a cuddly spirit and a joyful wiggle that appears the moment she's shown affection. She brings a comforting presence to every room and is always up for a little adventure with her person. If she sounds like the perfect partner, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to submit an adoption application. If it seems like a good match, her foster family will be in touch. Her adoption donation is $275.
