OK with larger ones but plays pretty rough, so -small ones not advised<br/>-Can be nippy when excited<br/>-Fostered in Round Rock<br/><br/>Meet Hammi aka Harmony<br/> <br/>Hi world, my name is Harmony, but most folks call me calls Hammi and I can be a ham, plus it’s much more delicious sounding.<br/> <br/>I was pulled by the rescue with severe wounds due to being attacked by some unknown animal with very large toofs and or claws. Tell people it was a dragon, make up a really cool story since we don’t know.<br/> <br/>My wounds have healed. The Vet suspects I was not only obviously attacked by something way tougher than me, but I have signs that I might have survived distemper as a puppy.<br/> <br/>All that to say, I am somewhat of a super hero, because I survived much much hardship, but came out the other end even better. My mutto is “If life throws lemons at you, don’t make lemonade, instead pretend they are shaved tennis balls and play play play.”<br/> <br/>I have loads of energy and my “little” 60 pound body often goes faster than my brain. Despite the whole life tossing lemons at me, I am THE SWEETEST and LOVE people. <br/> <br/>I get along best with male dogs but don’t always enjoy female dogs. But sometimes dogs don’t care much for me due to my let’s just say specially exubuttrant care free nature.<br/> <br/>If you are the type of person who occasionally pulls a hammy due to moving too fast and you enjoy a high energy quirky type of dog, then please select me! Adoption Process Carefully consider if you are ready for a dog. The dog you adopt is a LIFETIME commitment. Meet the Adoption Criteria? -You must be an adult who can maintain a household and provide references. -Have a suitable, fenced yard prior to bringing your dog home. We will only do ONE home check so please be ready. We do not adopt dogs to homes with electric fences. -Provide necessary vet care & training if any issues arise. -Allow a 30-Day adjustment period. -Advise us immediately if any problems arise. -We appreciate updates and photos! Fill out the Adoption Application. This is found at the following link: https://www.gsdrescuectx.com/adoption-application.html -You MUST complete an application and be approved before meeting any of our dogs. -Please allow at least 48 hours for us to review your application. It typically takes a week to fully process your application. -Allow us to conduct a Home Check. -Once your application is approved, meet foster dogs. -You MUST bring ALL members of the family, including your own dogs. - Pay the adoption fee of $300.00. This fee helps recover some of the cost of: Shelter release fees -Vet Care -Medications -Food Sign the Adoption Contract.
