Harlie's Story
Meet Harlie… your personal hype girl, cuddle dealer, and professional toy hoarder all rolled into one brindle package 🐾 Did we say EARS!?!?!

Born 2/12/2024 and weighing in at about 45 lbs, Harlie is the perfect “pocket pittie” size… small enough to snuggle, big enough to keep up with whatever chaos you’ve got planned.

Let’s talk about what makes her awesome:
Harlie is a people dog through and through. If you’re sitting, she’s sitting with you. If you’re moving, she’s your little shadow. If you’re breathing… she’s probably nearby making sure you’re doing it correctly 😅

She’s got a solid training foundation already and knows sit, paw, stay, leave it, off, and down. She’s also house trained and crate trained, so she’s not out here freelancing bad decisions.

She LOVES:
– Fetch (throw the ball, repeat forever)
– Other dogs (built-in best friend energy)
– Stuffed toys she can proudly parade around
– Bones to chew on
– And cuddling… like aggressively affectionate, no-personal-space cuddling

Her personality vibe:
Happy. Social. Wiggly. Slightly chaotic in the most lovable way.
She’s the dog that walks into a room like “HI YES HELLO I LOVE YOU ALL” and means it.

The “she’s still got some puppy in her” section:
Harlie still has that young dog energy, so she’ll need regular exercise to keep her happy and sane. When she gets excited, she can be a little mouthy, but she redirects easily and is already improving.

She also gets very excited when new people come over. Like… full welcome committee, zero chill at first. She just needs continued guidance to learn that not every guest requires a parade.

A quick note on her leg:
Harlie came into foster with a previous rear leg injury that’s been evaluated by a specialist. It doesn’t slow her down one bit. She does take a daily anti-inflammatory/pain med in the evening to keep her feeling her best, and she’s out here living life like it’s a sport.

Her dream home:
– A family that wants a dog involved in everything
– Someone who will give her attention, structure, and love (lots of it)
– A home that will keep her active and engaged
– A dog buddy would be a bonus, but not required
– Kids? Yes, especially ones who can handle a happy, wiggly greeter

Harlie is that perfect mix of playful and affectionate, with just enough sass to keep life interesting. She’s going to make someone laugh daily, love hard, and never let you feel alone again.

If you’re looking for a dog that brings the energy and the snuggles… Harlie’s already got your spot picked out on the couch.

Est DOB: 2/12/24
