No accidents in the house or crate, and he’s doing great. The cats bother him less now, and he loves playing and hanging out with the other dogs. He’s eating well and recovering nicely from his neuter on Tuesday. He enjoys Minties, so we are giving them in the morning and denta sticks at night. He’s still a little skittish and startles easily with loud noises and sudden movements, but overall he’s such a fun little guy & he is ready for his new home!

3/13/26-Harley has been with us for about a week now and he’s settling in nicely. He really enjoys hanging out with the other dogs and is slowly starting to play with them more. He’s not quite a lap dog yet… but we’re working on that. He had a couple accidents in the house during the first couple days while he was adjusting, but he’s doing really well now going outside with the other dogs to do his business and coming right back in. Harley can still be a little skittish at times, but he’s making great progress and getting more comfortable every day. On occasion he does bark or growl at the cats if they get a little too close, so we’re still working on that as well. The good news is he’s doing great with some of the important things — he does well in his crate at night, walks nicely on a leash, and does great in the car.
Harley’s neuter is scheduled for March 24, and we’ll continue to keep everyone updated on his progress.

3/7/26-Harley is at his foster home and adjusting. Typical ex breeder boy & currently he is trying to mark things so he's in his belly band. So far he’s scared but curious about the cats. He was groomed due to matts so he can now grow out a new coat even more beautiful.

3/6/26-Harley is a an adorable, scruffy sweet 2 year old Yorkshire terrier boy that arrived tonight thanks to his transport & overnight volunteers. He came from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need him anymore. He has his neuter appointment on Tuesday and then he will be ready for his new home.
