Harley (Previously Luna from 2022 L2 Litter) is in need of a new home

She is not directly within our foster network and is available as a courtesy post.
For additional details on Harley please contact us a lharinfo@gmail.com and we will put you in contact with her current family.

Harley is classified as a boxer mix. She is a boxer, bulldog, American Pitbull terrier mix. She is 3 years old. She is fully UTD on vaccines and rabies. She weighs 55 pounds. She is currently located in Middletown, MD. She would thrive in a home where she is the only dog and no babies or young kids. She has been with 2 other dogs for the last 3 years and may do well in a home with another dog but absolutely no small kids. We are rehoming her due to a safety concern with our newborn and her protective aggressiveness towards the other dogs in the house due to the baby. She has worked with a trainer, listens well to basic commands, has a high drive for playing ball and being outside.

“we are looking to Rehome Our Sweet Girl, Harley?

Harley has been with us since she was just 12 weeks old, and she is now 3 years old. She is such a sweet, loving dog who absolutely lives to play ball and enjoys being outside in the fresh air. She’s playful but also very chill — as long as she gets her daily game of fetch or a long walk, she is calm and relaxed the rest of the day. She is also a huge cuddle bug.

Since having our daughter, Harley has become increasingly protective and aggressive toward our other two dogs. We’ve worked with a trainer, had her evaluated, and considered every possible option, but unfortunately it has come to the point where rehoming her is the best and safest decision for everyone — including Harley.

? What Harley Needs in a New Home
• A home where she is the only dog (she may do okay with one other dog, but not with young kids and only if her new family is willing to continue working with her protective/resource guarding tendencies).
• No small children; she would do best with older kids or in an adult-only home.
• Someone who is home more often — she’s used to having someone around most of the day and has only ever been left alone for 4–6 hours at a time.
• An active person or family who will give her the exercise and attention she thrives on.

Harley is house trained, loyal, and does not destroy anything (except her toys, which she loves ?). She will give all of her heart to her person — she truly is the most devoted companion.”

For additional details on Harley please contact us at lharinfo@gmail.com and we will put you in touch with her current owners.
