Harley's Story

DOB: 6/27/2019
Weight: 14#

Harley is vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, spayed, microchipped with lifetime registration to the rescue, heartworm negative (5/20/2025) and on monthly prevention, etc.

She was a breeder release. All of the other dogs were sold. But noone wanted to buy her... which worked out for her. Her eye was damaged and never treated. So, we opted to have it removed to alleviate any pain and future complications since it didn't function anyway.

Harley is crate trained and pretty well house trained. She is happy to hang out on the sofa during the day and watch tv. I crate her at night and when I leave the house. She's good in the car, pretty good on leash, gets along with everyone albeit she can be a little bossy... maybe just the hormones still working out of her system. But she might be best not paired with another bossy female. She would be fine as an only dog or maybe with a kitty?

She has a funny, spunky personality and over all is just happy and really more so after having her painful eye removed. She's pretty low maintenance as far as minpins go. She can be strong willed and I gave the vet fair warning when I dropped her off for her surgeries. But all of the staff said that she was a good girl!

She would make an amazing dog for almost any home with minpin experience... as an only dog or with non reactive dogs. In a home setting with a fenced yard or an apt where leashed walks are needed. I would probably advise against small children.

If you are interested in adopting, please cut and paste the link below to fill out an adoption application:

https://form.jotform.com/92916416469165

After the application is processed and approved, a home visit and meet and greet with the dogs will be scheduled. If there are any fencing issues, make sure that repairs are done prior to the home visit. Typically, the adoption is finalized the day after the home visit and meet and greet. Out of area adopters would need to drive/fly in to meet the dogs and adopt.
