Harley's Story

Hi! I'm Harley, a sweet senior dog who loves to lounge on the couch and cuddle. Though I'm friendly and playful, I'm not a fan of cats. My favorite activity? Wrestling with my young lab friend in my foster home—it keeps me young at heart! I was found in the shelter very much in need of medical attention. My ear infections are all clear, but my teeth are showing their age. I’m a great house guest as I am completely housebroken, do well in the kennel, respond well to correction and quickly figure out the household routine. Adoption fees vary. All animals are sterilized, vaccinated, heartworm tested (dogs), FeLV tested (cats), microchipped, dewormed and have had monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention. All animals are adopted to indoor-only homes. No declawing. Fill out an application at WAALrescue.org/adoptions to get matched with an animal and schedule a meeting.
