Harla's Story

Harla comes to GREAT Rescue from the Jacksonville Humane Society. She was placed there by her owner who moved to Texas. Harla is a lovely girl but was very, very frightened at being placed at the HS so she was immediately placed in a foster home. She doesn't understand why she was abandoned. Harla is becoming more and more settled each day and feels so much more comfortable in her new environment. Her foster Mom takes her to the store, park, etc. to make her more comfortable in other places and going for rides in the car.

She has done very well there and is very, very sweet and gentle. Harla has a dark red coat, is current on all shots, spayed, has been treated for mild heartworm and has some very nice manners. She is housebroken and excellent in a home. Harla is two years old and has been doing very well with the families two Golden Retrievers and cat.

She would make a wonderful companion and family pet. We feel she is best suited for a single person, couple or a family with teenage children. If you are interested in adopting sweet Harla, email GREATRescue@comcast.net. Her pictures will be emailed to you.
