Hansel

Meet Hansel!

If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy boy to brighten your days, look no further! Hansel came to rescue alongside his sister after getting a rough start as a stray. We’re guessing he’s a Shepherd/Lab mix (though your guess is as good as ours!), born around August 4th, 2026. He'll likely be a large size dog when full grown.

Hansel has traded in street life for the cozy indoor life, and he is never looking back! He has settled into rescue like a champ and is thoroughly enjoying soft blankets, belly rubs, and a reliable breakfast schedule.

This smart pup is already making great progress on his puppy basics. He’s learning how to let his foster humans know when it’s time for a potty break, and he’s mastering his first manners like "sit." Show him a tasty treat, and he is all ears and ready to show off!

Hansel is good with other dogs and children, but has not had the opportunity to meet any cats yet. He is ready to head out to his forever home though! Is that yours?

Hansel is neutered, age-appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

To meet him, please head to www.pettalesrescue.com and fill out an application today!

Hansel's minimum adoption donation of $360 is payable via Venmo, PayPal ($10 fee added), or Cash.
